1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using SEO Audit Lane, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the platform.

2. The service

SEO Audit Lane is a website SEO auditing and analysis platform that helps businesses, website owners and SEO professionals identify technical SEO problems, on-page optimisation opportunities, website performance issues and search visibility opportunities.

The core service lets you enter a website URL, run a website SEO audit, analyse technical SEO, identify on-page SEO issues, analyse website performance, receive actionable SEO recommendations and generate SEO reports.

Where available, you may also connect Google Search Console to analyse genuine Google search performance data after you give permission. SEO Audit Lane is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information at registration and keep it up to date. You may not share your account or use it to access the platform on behalf of others without authorisation.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use SEO Audit Lane only for lawful purposes. You may not use the platform to crawl, audit, or generate content for websites you do not own or do not have permission to analyse, to attempt to overload or disrupt the service, to circumvent rate limits or security controls, or to violate any applicable law.

You remain solely responsible for the websites you add to your projects and for any content generated by the platform and published to your sites.

5. AI-generated content

SEO Audit Lane uses artificial intelligence to help explain SEO issues and generate recommendations and, where you request it, content. AI output may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before acting on it or publishing it. We do not guarantee that AI-generated recommendations will achieve specific search-engine rankings.

6. Google services

Where you choose to connect a Google service such as Google Search Console, your use of that service is governed by Google's terms and the permissions you authorise. SEO Audit Lane is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or pricing of third-party services.

7. Third-party integrations

The platform connects to third-party services such as Google APIs, an AI service provider and, where relevant, your CMS. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms.

8. Subscriptions and billing

Where paid plans are offered, they are billed on a recurring basis. Fees are charged in advance. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in line with applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the website content and data you submit to the platform. We retain ownership of the SEO Audit Lane software, branding and the platform itself. Content you generate using the platform is yours to use, subject to any rights of underlying third-party data providers.

10. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any specific SEO results. Search-engine rankings depend on factors outside our control.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the platform or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
